Logica Philippines 2008 Basketball opening

It was on June 28, 2008 Saturday, when Logica launched their Basketball Tournament at North Forbes Park, Makati City. The Opening ceremony started with a parade of the basketball teams and their muses, invocation (lead by Jazz Samson), national anthem, opening remarks (by Rj Evaristo), oath of sportsmanship and the much awaited lighting of the torch (by Charles Soriano). They also had a special presentation by the Logica Dance group with the famed sound track from the movie Step-up 2 “Low”. The opening program was followed by dodge ball game for the adults. And as part of the family day concept of the event, Pureplay sports also prepared fun-filled exciting kiddie games starting with the warm up exercises, followed by fishing game (water balloons), fill the bucket relay, parachute fun, bowling champs, mini obstacle course and treasure hunt. The kids who won the games were rewarded with Enchanted Kingdom tickets for the whole family. All of these were made possible by their Human Resources Department (headed by Barbara Gatbonton and project leader Madel Napoles). Their aim is to increase camaraderie and team work among their employees by delivering excellence outside of work through fun sports.
