3n2 Pangaea Cup 15 International Slo-pitch Softball Tournament
A total of 16 teams from all over Asia (Philippines, Singapore, Korea, Jakarta, Taiwan, Taipei, Japan, and Hong Kong) had participated in this tournament, which was held at Alabang Country Club, last February 29, March 1, & 2, 2008.
The Super Division was won by the team from Taipei, Hengta Team, and the runner up team is the Cebuana Lhuillier, which is one of the favorites. Under A Division, Meralco Sluggers, another local team failed to grab the champion trophy from HK Turkeys. While Entom Tigers of Mr. Ely Baradas, won the Club Division Championship against Singapore River Rats.
This year’s tournament was organized by Pure Play Sports Management, Inc., in cooperation with the Amateur Slo-pitch Softball Association of the Phils. (ASSAP, Inc.), and was sponsored by 3n2 Sports (major sponsor), Cebuana Lhuillier, Handlebar and Grill, Outback Steak House, Omni Insurance, Pagcor, and Pangaea Trading Corp.
